As a result on this very first episode, I talk about the facts and myths surrounding sickle cell anaemia, giving a little insight to what a sickle crisis feels like.
In addition I also share the lesson I have learnt from the oldest sickle cell patient. My desire is that this podcast will not only encourage sickle cell warriors and the their loved ones but also challenge anyone else who feels limited due to circumstances beyond their control not to give up.
